Operator and contact
LLC CCS operates this website. The publisher's name and shared publishing structure appear in Publisher details. Send privacy enquiries to [email protected].
Information processed
Requests involve connection information such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser information and security signals so that pages can be delivered and attacks detected. Search terms are transmitted as part of the request and may appear in technical error or security records. We do not create a personal search profile.
No reader account is required. This website has no analytics or advertising-tracking scripts and no newsletter form. Security functions may use technically necessary cookies or checks.
If you email us, your address, message and any attachments you choose to provide are used to handle your enquiry. Please send only information needed for that purpose.
Service providers and recipients
The publisher administers the website and its server applications. Cloudflare supports DNS, page delivery, protection against attacks and incoming email forwarding. Editorial correspondence is handled in Google Gmail. See the providers' information: Cloudflare privacy policy and Google privacy policy.
The regular publishing process serves article images from our own media address. If an article specifically links or embeds external media, its provider may receive connection information. Published images carry their source and usage information.
Purposes and legal grounds
Where the GDPR applies, technically necessary processing for secure delivery and responses to enquiries relies on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f): operating the information service, preventing abuse and handling editorial feedback. Enquiries concerning a specific contractual service are handled under Article 6(1)(b); legally required record retention is covered by Article 6(1)(c).
Retention and international processing
Application logs have bounded storage and older entries are replaced as their storage limit is reached. Search queries are not maintained as a separate reader history. Providers apply their own retention rules to their security records.
Correspondence is needed while an enquiry, correction or agreed service is being handled. Further retention depends on a continuing documentation need and applicable legal recordkeeping or claims periods; information no longer needed should be deleted. The retention period therefore depends on the nature and closure of the matter.
The publisher is based in the United States. The services named above may process information in the US and other countries. Their privacy information describes their international processing and safeguards.
Your rights
Where provided by applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction, object to processing, and request data portability. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact [email protected]; we may request information necessary to identify your enquiry securely.
